Doing what we can to make a difference, though not always simple, offers us hope for a better future.  How would you like to make your impact?

     First off, we are a socially responsible investment adviser selective with our investments.  We vote in corporate elections.  We speak out.  We invest locally and support causes we believe in.  Some would call this impact or alignment investing.  Others would call it ESG (an abbreviation for environmental, social and corporate governance issues).  Either way, we look to invest in well-managed companies attractive for their higher returns and lower funding costs.

     We manage portfolios that integrate publicly traded stocks, funds and bond securities together with privately offered opportunities in local, community, environmental and social/racial justice investments.

​     Beside us here on this page is an example of a portfolio, a real case of a client who requested a more significant allocation be added to impact, local and community-based investments.  This is more than we typically advise most of our clients to do but it is also less than we manage in agreement with a few of our other clients.  Again, it's always your money and your choice how we go about doing this.
